“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”
—Carl Jung

People seek out therapy for a wide variety of reasons. Some are looking for support or additional perspective during a particularly challenging crisis or transition, others are looking to finally address and resolve long-standing issues, conflict, or past trauma in their lives. Some need help wrestling with depression or anxiety, while others are struggling through unhappy relationships or problems at work. Sometimes, people simply feel stuck and need somebody to talk to about things.

Whatever your particular reasons for seeking out help at this time, I am here to offer you a safe, secure, and supportive space in which to discuss your problems, working with you to build a therapeutic relationship aimed at providing you with increased self-awareness, insight, and understanding. Together, we will explore past and present issues in an attempt to gain a better understanding of your current dilemmas, while also working to identify and support your current strengths.

It’s important to tell our stories, to feel seen, heard, and understood. As both a writer and a therapist, I believe that words matter. And I would love to hear yours.
